'Exit Velocity' sounds like an early 90s Van Damme movie.

Close.

Exit Wounds was a Seagal movie.

Wesley Snipes, Dolph Lundgren, and Mickey Rourke coming direct to On Demand in Exit Velocity!

They don't.

They used it in a couple of interesting situations I thought were acceptable.

For instance...Jorge Soler consistently hits the ball harder than everyone else on the team...yet right now he is hitting for a low average. Over the course of a season, you can expect that he will hit better due to that. And this is why there is such a focus with Mallee and Dave Martinez on trying to elevate the ball a little into more line drives or fly balls. Soler will have monster power numbers with only slight adjustments, hopefully.

Im not talking about Len and JD specifically. ESPN is obsessed with it. My DVR didnt record Ch 50 for some reason so I was forced to watch ESPN feed for a few innings last night. MLB Network uses it just about the right amount.

Wesley Snipes is on the run after being framed for the murder of a conservative Supreme Court Justice (James Earl Jones). He (Darnell Kennedy) needs to get out of the country in a few hours or he'll be tried and convicted of murder and treason.

Chasing him is washed up alcoholic cop Mickey Rourke and Russian Mafia enforcer Dolph Lundgren (the actual killer)

Elizabeth Shue plays his hostage/eventual lover

A guy that I grew up with is a physicist who also publishes a very popular gambling newsletter covering the NFL and NBA. About twenty years ago the Indians had him on a broadcast where he provided measurements like "exit velocity". It was a novelty at the time.
