Anyone ever order furniture from this site?

not that I expect the couch to be good or even in tact for more than 1 year, but a couch for 1 year, for $299 INCLUDES shipping...come on?

Is this thing paper?

Check the brand. We have a coffee table and console table from there but I knew the mfg was pretty good.

I bought this
http://www.wayfair.com/Wood-and-Metal-L ... A4680.html
It's flimsy and not well made at all. I didn't know the brand.

I also bought some candleholders. They are awesome.

What about a day bed frame with a mattress or cushion? One of my friends bought a pretty cheap mattress for her guest room but it was pretty comfy. I'll see if I can get the name tomorrow.

The one thing I've learned about furniture is that you get what you pay for. It's either cheap or good.

Yes, they have solid customer service. But their goods have a higher quality appearance online than what you actually get. I bought this coffee table for my man cave. It is a lot smaller than it looks.....and the wood is cheap.

Just go there. I picked up a sofa for an office trailer. It's survived many naps. Under $300 as I recall. Plenty good enough for throw away furniture, bar stools, ottomans, kitchen chairs, etc. It's like wayfair, but you can walk in and touch stuff.

One of my former co-workers works for them now, writing a bunch of inventory management stuff. He loves it, because he hates people and they tend to hire a lot of ex-MIT types who are good at programming but lacking social skills. Plus, he's just hanging on waiting for the IPO as he got in early enough, and then he can retire - he's about 55 right now.

Most of what Wayfair sells is the type of stuff you'll find in an Ashley or a Bed Bath and Beyond. Somewhat disposable, but fine if you want to pay $240 for a corner cabinet that will look ok for 3-4 years, instead of $695 for a better built one that will last 25 years.

Nice job on the quote function!

No hostility. All your friends live in town. Mine don't.

The brand was Casper. She said she only paid a hundred dollars for them but I don't see them listed for less than 500 anywhere.
