Where to stay? Its like 30-35 minutes from Downers grove... There's hotels in Matteson next to I-57.

It's more like an hour and I'm not sure what time I'll have to be there yet. I was looking for a Marriott. I think the closest one might be Tinley park, which would be kinda stupid, and I don't know much about places like America's best value or super 8s.

There's a huge ass holiday inn on Cicero and I-57 ..I've been in the bar there, looks like a nice place.

I would stay somewhere in Frankfort.

Take whatever you need to the games & don't plan on eating anywhere near the rinks. University Park is in the middle of nowhere & there really is nothing worthwhile out there.

With an early start, I cannot envision what will make an overnight stay (for a 10u game) worth your while though. If you stay in Tinley/Orland/Frankfort, you can still plan on a 15-20+ minute drive at 6-7am.

What Reader said. Your best bet for hotels, fast food and Applebee's type place is to stay right off I80 at either Lagrange or Harlem.

On a weekend morning, 355 &Ogden to UPark is 30min or so.

It's for dance this time. Sometimes they want us there by 6-7. Figure an hour drive, hair and make up takes 40 minutes. I'm trying to avoid getting up at 4:30. We aren't morning people.

Lots of options off of Harlem and I-80. A few hotels off LaGrange and I-80 as well.
