The guy went 2 for 4 with a homer and 3 runs scored on Friday, but he takes the collar on Saturday and you want to act like Maddon has benched him because he realized the guy shouldn't start? No......Madden has said he is going to give him 3 starts a week. He's already started 4 games in the past week and so he gave him a day off as would be expected. Baez is batting .261 and will continue to get starts and help the team win. He is a good ballplayer, outside of the need to improve on his sliding.
