If a the police said "we didnt even go after them because its a suicide mission" they would be FRONT PAGE on Salon, Gawker etc. being accused of black genocide by letting these three girls drown. PD's across the country know this so they make patrol officers like these guys lie.

As a public service announcement I will pass this onto the CSFMB community.....should you ever be trapped in a car that has plunged into the water and the windows will not go down, take the headrest out of the slots it is mounted into the seat. You can then use the metal posts to break the windows of a submerged vehicle.

Supposedly video exists that shows the cops trying to rescue . Original video was edited to show them not doing anything .

The Pinellas County Sherriff's Office responded to the video circulating on Friday.

"Unfortunately, some people are irresponsibly and falsely posting on Facebook that deputies did not attempt to rescue the 3 girls who tragically drowned while fleeing from the police in a stolen car a few weeks ago.
The sheriff stated at the time that deputies removed their gunbelts and clothes and tried to enter the water to rescue the girls, but the conditions in the water prevented them from doing so. This is exactly what happened, and we stand by that.

All video regarding the incident has been released, including the below clip that shows deputies who had taken off their duty gear in an effort to rescue the girls. The other video being shown omits this part that shows deputies who had entered the water in their effort to rescue the girls. We are posting this clip with the hope that the false narrative being spread about this incident stops.

I canoed through the Everglades a few years ago with an ex girlfriend of mine and we had this guide who could not have been older than I was at the time (21). This doofus would prod at the gators with his paddle as we watched in horror, eventually one swam under his canoe and lifted it up about 2 feet in the water then let it down. The look on his face was of sheer terror, like he knew how close he came there.

The media really fucked this one

The cops did go in the water

They tried to save the girls

It wasnt possible

The media cut out all the supporting videos the cops released

This was a smear campaign

They don't want to create a story so much as hammer every somewhat-rounded square peg into a round hole. Because the narrative they're pushing in pursuit of rage-clicks doesn't have a lot of factual support, they just 'massage' the cases by omitting inconvenient facts, or intentionally failing to vet suspect claims.
