The Cubs started 5-0, but are only 9-5 since that. A .6428 winning percentage. If the Cubs only play to that level, we're looking at a paltry 106 win regular season. Hardly the dominant wire to wire performance we expected.

Best team in the NL. Been watching the Nationals as well. They're very good but not on the Cubs' level. Harper should be pitched around every time. Looking forward to their matchup next weekend.

Strasburg might not even make it to June with Dusty calling the shots.

We both know why Strasburg's innings matter more.

It's going to get interesting with the Pirates and Nationals back to back. A good test.

The worst one is probably Yield. No one even pays attention to it. The sign basically says, "hey look, you should probably slow down here, but you aren't going to, so your government isn't fucking responsible when you crash into the car over there."

Minnesota would probably have 10 wins in the NL.

Let's be serious.

Maybe 9 more but definitely not 10.

They don't play the Twins this year. So unless you anticipate the Twins making the World Series, that matchup will have to wait.

Today's win doesn't count. They walked the other team's best player a few times.

I was wrong anyway...it is .800. I was thinking the Cubs only had 23 wins like some sort of peasant team.

This series against the Nationals should be considered as evidence that managers have a distinct effects on the outcome of a game. Dusty has all the talent in the world on this team... and that will win them games. But when matched up against a talented team with a better general they got swept. Again he left starters in too long. Didn't protect his big hitters. Pitched around the wrong guys and saw those walks come in to score.

This dude shouldn't be managing.

No, we've been told by an astute baseball fan, it was a bitch move.
