What was the point of that video? Get a bunch of regular guys on and make them incredibly uncomfortable and then make them feel so bad about something that they were never a part of in the first place - to the point where they are apologizing. Why are they apologizing? Just because the producer made them so uncomfortable that they can't think of anything else to say?

I'd bet anybody that would threaten to rape someone or murder their dog probably wouldn't have much hesitation to sit in front of Julie DiCaro and call her a bitch. Some people are assholes.

Sure, I'd watch that video and feel uncomfortable about the whole thing but I'd never Tweet Julie DiCaro that I want her dead, either. So, who is the audience? Because I guarantee you that somebody that would do it will watch that video and be thrilled to death that everybody involved is about to cry.

The point they are trying to make (which I assume is people wouldn't say what they Tweet) can only be made with the people actually making the Tweets sitting in front of them.

All this shows is that Julie and Sarah feel really bad about how people treat them on the internet.

That video is the definition of making the story about yourself. She can't hide behind the front of being a journalist anymore. She's a celebrity and this is her cause. Professional victim and let the dollars roll in. Notice that she never points out a solution to this problem. Just that it "gets discussed" and "pointed out".

Julie is a drama whore with terrible sports thoughts (I'm not even sure that that's accurate because she only seems to read updates) but the fact that she has been able to sustain this level of pure hatred is amazing.
