Big swing and a miss from Inquisie! As Frank Thomas (who probably was clean, but nobody is above suspicion) got older, his numbers slowly declined and he became injured a lot more. He did not struggle mightily, change teams at ~30 years old, then all of a sudden put up numbers better than anybody in the history of the game like your boy Jake has.

I'd say try again, but it appears you have already struck out in this thread. Probably best to just lick your wounds and try again tomorrow.

You "might" be a billionaire. I would bet against it though.

The before after pic of Franks speaks for it self. He was never small, but he gained A LOT of size and muscle.

He may have been clean. We'll never know.

 There is a reason why he didn't choose any of the pictures of Frank batting in the minors.

Im not sure what you're laughing at.

He is undeniably way bigger and muscular in A's picture and it has nothing to do with the pose.

It has everything to do with the pose.

There are plenty of pictures of him batting in the minors where he looks nearly as big. I even posted one from Auburn.

You are going to look smaller with your arm down like that and not flexed.

Again, dont care if he did them or not. He may or may not have. But to deny that he added significant size and muscle is silly.

You're in denial. Ill bet if you ask Frank himself, he would tell you he added a lot of muscle (through legit workouts) and size throughout his career

Yes, my post above yours of him batting on the White Sox 14 years apart pretty much makes your "he didnt change body types" stance pretty ridiculous.

I found a picture that was very similar to your picture of older Frank and he looks roughly the same even with him simply posing for the photo. He looks a little stronger in the older one but obviously that can happen.

Just like THE INQUISITOR, you have chosen to compare him with his arms in a completely different position.

So, let's take our time before we crown the pitching staff as the best in the world. Orioles and the Red Sox are #3 and #4 -- see how the pitching holds up next week.

Batting average? How about runs scored? Texas and Toronto are both top five in the league. Not trying to be misleading at all, though huh?

Texas is 9th and Toronto is 11th... are you just talking about AL for some reason, or are you trying to mislead?? :?

The reason Texas and Toronto aren't top is because the Sox shut both of them down. It's early in the season, a bad 3 game stretch can drop you halfway down league in a lot of categories.

Well, you can't blame yesterday's (7th straight now) loss on the pitching. It was their impotent offense.

That reminds me of a joke....why did the Black guy wear a 3 piece suit to his vasectomy?

He figured if he was going to be impotent, he ought to look impotent!
