You don't trade up to take a developmental, occasionally on the field player .

Isn't this draft supposed to be really deep at DLine? If you can trade down and get another pick and still get a quality guy why wouldn't you?


Because if you wouldn't have traded up for a part timer you wouldn't have to worry about trading down to get that pick back. This was a draft where all they had to do was take BPA. Lots of holes on this team. But they moved up to get a really fast, athlete? And so what if it's deep at DLine. Stay put and get your top rated d-lineman.

So if they had a 1st round grade on him, why the fuck did they trade from 41 all the way down to 49? That sounded asinine to me when I was driving home, and now they got played. Drop down to 44 or 45, but not all the way down to 49....
