havent looked at dan's twitter, is today's show centered around making fun of people reacting negatively to the bears draft? or discussion of the loud voices in the room that wanted to draft whitehair/cut slasson?

He had Dal Turka for a dinner. It was spiced because that is what the chef prefers. I don't even know what that was.

He lives a charmed life.

It's a Mexican chain down in southern California. No, that's Del Taco.

Dal Turka was a good field-no hit shortstop for the Cardinals in the 50s.

Thank you Boers for your honest commentary today and for not going along with the "kow tow" mindset of your partner.

Dan talks about the 1st pick being a "boom or bust", as if that is acceptable. When you draft at 11 or 9, you don't have to get a "raw' player. You should be taking one of the best ten players in all of college football, whose technique is already refined. It was Ryan himself who called Floyd "raw".

WTF are you doing when you're green GM thinks he has to seek out guys like Floyd at all. Didn't someone tell Ryan, "YOU DON"T HAVE TO TAKE HIM!!!!" There were guys just as good or better who weren't "RAW"!!!

Amazing to listen to these two hate on every pick and then defend them when they have a problem with what a caller is saying.

this all started with Theo.

Doesn't matter if the plan is good or bad if they do exactly "what they told you they would do".

Few people bother to challenge them on this point. Why is there a bonus for direct honesty with teams? I'll take a dishonest team that knows what it's doing for 500 points, Alex.

Not to mention Pace hardly ever shows up to explain what he is doing...it's just assumed that he knows what he's doing until it's not longer assumed, a la Emery.

Alex Brown said the same thing....he said when you draft in the top 10, especially when you trade into the top 10, you have to draft someone who is ready to step on the field and produce. You don't draft a project.
