With a 5-0 record including a no-hitter and an ERA of 1.00 Jake Arrieta followed his 2015 Cy Young award winning campaign with the Pitcher of the month award for April in the National league. Jordan Zimmermann got the award in the AL.

Not really. Thor is off to a good start with the Mets, as is Gio Gonzalez (1.15 ERA) with the Nationals. But Jake's 5-0 record in April as well as 1.00 ERA was better than anyone else. Jason Hammel would also have to be mentioned with his 3-0 record and great ERA in April. Now Hammel is at 4-0 with a 1.24 ERA. But Arrieta was the clear cut choice I would say.

I would love to see Arrieta try his skills in the AL.....oh wait, he already did.

Nuts that a move to the NL suddenly rejuvenates a shattered career.

Good for him though, if at first you suck cock just try again in the easier league.

Dude, why are you being so salty, bro? An overly harsh rebuttle leads me to believe that your anger is an affirmation.

Praise be!
