i don't frequent McDonalds too often but what's with the double drive through lanes ? Is that really more efficient ?

I wondered how they determine which line you came from, so I asked a manager a few months back how it works. She said there's a sensor that automatically syncs to the computer and tells them which line has come through first, but it won't work if someone cuts in front of someone else too late (the computer will flip the cars). I thought it was mildly interesting. #themoreyouknow
