This Cubs team is the best I have ever seen, certainly the best since 1984. Cubs might just win 110 this year and win the division by 10 games.

Good, not great. Not special beyond Sale. Quintana is off to a real good start, but he has never put together a special season. Rodon has some real good stuff, but has had starts where he got knocked around like a red headed step chld. Latos is off to a good start, but has shown signs lately that he will be coming back to his normal numbers....which while respectable, again...nothing special.

It feels like every Lester start he's getting whacked around. But once he's done with his day his line ends up something like 7IP 2ER 8Ks.

I get that same feeling. I think it has to do with he is so slow to home plate and takes his time to disrupt the runners timing.

It's rarely a relaxed experience.

MLB asked that Lester find a way to lengthen games so fans get their moneys worth since he follows Arrieta on the schedule.

I would say that giving up 4 runs in 5 innings in his last start is fairly substantial regression towards his career numbers. He was a nice upgrade over what they had last season in that slot, but he's nothing special.
