That's an excellent point, problem was that the ACA itself was shrouded in bullshit, obfuscated and hustled through Congress in a criminal way. We were told we wouldn't know what was in it until it passed. The time to be pissed was before the law was passed, but rational voices were drowned out by the Republicans and brow beaten by Democrats. It's all plain as day now....but it's here and isn't going anywhere.

The abridged version is 925 pages or thereabouts. I've tried to read it when I fly for work...no go.

It's really sad how much of a massive issue that became two months ago. Hell, we had a what 20 page thread overnight on an issue none of us here will ever be confronted with. Even Trump called it a non-issue :lol:

It is virtually impossible to read any significant section of the federal codes. By design.

I had to "read" up on federal COBRA legislation about 25 years ago. I quickly realized I was in over my head. I went to the guy who assigned the work to me, explained that what I had for him was little more than others' summaries that I checked as well as I could, but that it was out of my wheelhouse. He laughed, thanked me for the honesty & explained that at his advanced age, he wasn't even up for attempting even that. :lol:
