Hendricks really is a decent #5. Nothing fancy just a grinder. Nice outing for him tonight no matter the end result.

He is. I don't want to have to rely on him in the playoffs, but he's a good 5. You at least know he'll go out and give you a chance to win most nights.

His career high is 82. He's just not a great hitter. They definitely overpaid for him; but if they think he was the final piece and that outfield defense was what was lacking, it doesn't matter to me what they paid.
