Rodon now 1-4 on the season and 0-3 over his last 4 starts.

The rubber game in this series will feature Henry Owens (0-1 5.40 ERA) for the Red Sox VS Erik Johnson, who will be taking the spot in the rotation previously filled by John Danks. Johnson is lifetime 7-4 with a 4.17 ERA. Sox 3-3 in their last 6, coming back to earth.

No way..I didn't see the game but this guy has great stuff, better than ranks in his prime..just has control issues...he's a future star barring a serious injury.

Ok, he's looking more like a young Samardzija than the next Sale.

Way better stuff..samardiza is a chump... He's 23? Bosio will squeeze 20 wins out of that arm.

Well, he's 10-9 in his career now and I have to think he's got another 10 wins in his future, so I guess you're right. But if you mean he will ever have a 20 win season, I highly doubt that. 20 win seasons are pretty rare . Tim Lincecun won 2 Cy Young awards and never won more than 18. Chris Sale has never won more than 17. You are getting a bit carried away predicting 20.

Not having a losing record in your last 6 against division leaders, while having the best record in the league is coming back to earth. You are obsessed. Settle the fuck down.

No, not really. Plus he already has miles on that arm. His arm is 23 going on 33.[/quote]

You are crazy man..dude is a beast, I'd trade Schwarber, Baez and Hendricks for him tomorrow.

Today is the first time in MLB history that 4 first place teams have played in the same city on the same day.

Boston is good, but I'm not sure Erik Johnson has it.

That's pretty cool....given the fact that NY had the Giants, Dodgers, and Yankees, that's actually amazing.

One thing Avi does not lack is character. He came back from that shoulder injury a couple years ago WAY ahead of schedule, he works his ass off (part of the reason I suspect he may be a name to come out soon, but we'll see).

Probably used PEDs for such a quick recovery.

Reminded me of some of Dave Martinez at-bats....from 2000 (?).
