Sandberg deal was probably the best but getting Sut in the middle of 84 sealed the deal. Joe Carter had a hell of a career but without Rick and his run they never come so close in 84.

I agree with this move. Attack the hitters, no walks. Don't worry about the shutout as much as avoiding a big inning and letting them back into the game.

In a game with a 5 run lead, I wouldn't have even had him warm up. But I would have had Cahill up earlier and had him in to pitch VS Werth, rather than a lefty (Wood) Rondon pitched last night and they have a day game tomorrow, so saving all those warm up pitches in the bullpen along with the 5 he used in the game, would have been the way to go for me.
