If someone can make a more entertaining movie than this of any type,I'd like to see it.

5 out of 5 stars.

Perfectly crafted and it seemed like every hero has their moment.

What he said.

You can see it not having seen any of the others, but obviously you miss out on some connections and lines and other tidbits here and there.

It's concurrently a comedy, drama, buddy movie, anti-buddy movie, political and social commentary ... it kinda runs the gamut.

Also, they finally fucking got Spiderman right.

There are two "post credits" scenes ... one halfway, one at the end ... both were good, the second one pleased everyone in the theater who more or less all audibly showed their approval - albeit in a restrained way - that came out like a group rendition of the "and there was much rejoicing - yay" gag from Holy Grail.

I saw it 'plain' ... that is, no 3D or IMAX ... I don't feel as though I missed anything important, but it's your dollar to spend.

As a side note, I really don't go into this type of movie trying to figure it out before it happens (it's not meant as an intellectual exercise), but still I feel a bit of a goof not realizing what exactly that thing with the car was the whole time, even though I 'knew' what the stuff in the trunk was ... oh well.

This makes 2 Captain America movies at the top of the best Marvel movies.

Just great.

I'll echo Don's thought about Spider-Man as well.

The best part of the 1st Avengers is when Cap saves the old man in front of the Opera. The ending of Civil War really surprised me,that's all I'll say. I'm looking forward to some other "geek" movies this year but I will not be expecting anything like this again. Looks like "suicide Squad" will be filmed at night again. DC likes nighttime because the FX is cheaper.

I agree w/ you guys. It's up there w/ Winter Soldier as the best Marvel movie.

I thought everyone was great. They fucking nailed Spider-Man. Pretty sure Tony Stark nailed Aunt May... or he will in the sequel (adios, Pepper). Audience was jacked after the 2nd credits scene.

Black Panther was the shit. He was fucking tearing it up. Can't wait for his movie.

I think they're driving towards Scarlet Witch having a "House of M" moment. Don't be surprised if she turns heel in one of the next two Avenger films.

Got to see it see Thursday night(12:30 am Friday) at Yorktown 18. AMC has totally redone the place. Big comfy recliner chairs and tray tables for the redicously large tub of popcorn.

Lots of emotional bridge building then getting to the action stuff. For Cap being Mr. Right and Wrong(side of history), why the freaking frack doesn't he bring Bucky/Winter Soldier in to face his crimes???

Plenty of good dialogue and intros of Spidey, Black Panther, and the villain Baron Zemo. Vision is either Bitch of the Year or Scarlet Witch is on a Thor/Hulk level of powers. He has an Infinity Stone on his face! !!!!! Good grief.

More to follow... I don't want to lose my post with it timing out...

You are slipping. Winter Soldier was a fine film, not just a "comic book movie". Dark World served its pupose of character development and putting another Infinity Stone in play.

And another thing, the Iron Man/Stark tech punched a couple holes in the story. What no room for eject buttons or parachute in your fancy suits??? And at the end in the bunker, what is with the Scooby Doo crime caper tip toeing around? Oy vey.

I did enjoy the Black Panther and then Iron Man wanting to literally murder Winter Soldier. Good times and it was a fast 2 1/2 hours of running time.

I loved the movie and plot direction. It threw me for a loop at the end. For this type of movie, you very seldom find intriguing plot twists. I didn't like Thor:Dark world or Avengers:Ultron that much but they can't all be winners. Looking forward to Dr. strange though.

WS is probably required before seeing CW.

Scarlet Witch, aka Wanda Maximoff, is one of the most powerful characters in all of the Marvel comics. As she's able to wield what's referred to as chaos magic, she has the ability to alter the very fabric of reality to suit her needs.

What happened in the scene after the credits? Only saw the first scene

Just saw over the weekend. I wouldn't even call it a CA movie, but more like Avengers 3.

Elizabeth Olsen is fucking gorgeous.

to each his own on aesthetics I guess

I don't think there is any objective way she would be considered gorgeous.
