Taking 2 of 3 to increase their division lead to 8 games made for a good series. Now, it seems as though a series victory is not enough for some people, if it isn't a sweep, it's a disappointment. Cole pitched a great game and the Pirates are a good team. Yet I liked the way the Cubs battled in the 9th and made a run at it against Melancon. Lester pitched a very good game obviously, no-hitting the Pirates through 6. Good to see him pitch so well, even if it was in a losing effort. Having the day off last Thursday and now another today, should help the guys be fresh and ready to roll tomorrow against the Brewers in Milwaukee.
