I don't know what's more impressive ... a guy that size getting into that Spandex, or a guy that size riding a bicycle uphill with a partial smile on his mush.

That's some nice police work there, Lou.

Just like so many pretty Irish lassies....she went the way of the Irish.

"Mandika" was a great song, though. Still is.

Wow. This is the first time I've seen her since she was hot. I'm not kidding. I don't think I've seen a pic of her in 15 or 20 years.

Is that really true about Irish women. Cuz I've heard it before. That they tend to get big at a greater rate than other women? Who the hell would know? I guess there wouldn't be data on that?

That second pic isn't her...not even close. Is that a joke?

Here she is at the Metro in March singing some Bowie. She's still got some cuteness to her...even though she's been trying to avoid it for 30 years.

Huh...maybe that is her...same mole on the cheek...but it really doesn't look like any other pic of her.

Maybe that was a post partum pic after one of her kids was born. No big tattoo on the chest.

I'd be suicidal too if I had to live in the soul-crushing monotony that is the Chicago burbs. Even one as nice as Wilmette has all the energy and appeal of a dentist appointment.

Wilmette probably has better sex parties than Naperville.

Don't underestimate these rich suburbs. Boring on the surface one would assume. But these people have money. So they have good times.

Uncle Buck thing is interesting.

Rezko's out? Thought he would have to wait for Obama to pardon him in January.
Pete Wentz - druggie rock star.
Jack Ryan - sex parties with 7 o 9.

On 2nd thought, place sounds like too much for me.

I bet Ann Margaret and Jack Brickhouse have the best sex parties.

Meiers is too far west to be Wilmette. But a nice spot.

How did Naperville become the swingingest suburb in all of Chicagoland?

Were the swingers clubs there first and attracted the group to the suburb or did like minded couples coalesce around the city?

Meier's is in Glenview, as Wilmette was a dry town until the late 70s or early 80s.

Having grown up there, it was rather boring, other than whatever woman was shitting on old Jack. Good luck finding a decent restaurant beside the pancake house. But I got to go into the city with my dad and see real people, and my grandmother lived in Cicero so I got to learn about mobsters. Fortunately I grew up in an era when you could still go wander around and not be worried about getting abducted, I pretty much had free reign to go anywhere in Wilmette as a junior high aged kid.

FATHER: Over there, that's Brooklyn. That's where Spike Lee lives.

SON: Hey, there's a man swimming in the water.

FATHER: Naw, that's probably just a dead body, son. You see, when the mob kills someone, they throw the body in the river.

My mom's best childhood friend lived next door to Rocco Infelise back in the 40s and early 50s. They weren't allowed to play in the front yard when Rocco was around because of the fear that somebody'd try to bump him off. Fun times.
