Latos gives up 5 runs on 11 hits and 2 walks in just 5 1/3 innings. Anyone still a big fan of his? I told everyone he was nothing special and there was good reason he was a free agent looking for a home as long as he was. He's not awful (though he has been pretty bad in his last 4 starts now) but he's nothing more than a journeyman 5th starter, currently in the 4th starters slot. losing another series is not the thing to focus on, but rather the continued struggling of the 3rd-5th spots in the rotation.

Keuchel has gotten hit around quite a bit this year. That game can go either way. Rodon has been bad a lot this year, but claims he is going to have a more aggressive approach and attack hitters, to avoid getting behind in the count and in predictable hitters counts. Lets see if he follows through on that and how it plays out. If Latos gets knocked around again, do the Sox look for options to possibly replace him in the rotation ? Seems to be a trend that he is on now.....about 5 innings 4-5 runs. Not good.

I expect the Astros to take 2 of 3, as the pale hose decline continues and they lose their 3rd consecutive series.

I have MANY years of experience in trying to appreciate steaming piles of dogshit.

NOPE the Cubs (now 28-10) are looking to win another series, while the Sox have already assured themselves of a 3rd straight losing series. Their lead in the AL Central is down to just 2 1/2 games now. I said they would lose 2 of 3 in this series, so no surprise to me.
