He pitched as well as anyone could expect. This loss has nothing to do with him

Yup. Sox had the one crucial AB of the game and Abreu GIDP. He's toast, the bat speed is gone and he can't hit that inside fastball. He needs to figure it out very soon.

Abreu's probably 42 years old.

It'll be 1.5 after the Indians lose to the Red Sox.

Meaning they'll be in first place no matter what come Monday.

No Abroo or Garcia. Looks like five easy outs in the lineup today.

1. Adam Eaton (L) RF
2. Jimmy Rollins (S) DH
3. Todd Frazier (R) 3B
4. Melky Cabrera (S) LF
5. Jerry Sands (R) 1B
6. Brett Lawrie (R) 2B
7. Carlos Sanchez (S) SS
8. Alex Avila (L) C
9. Austin Jackson (R) CF

Jerry Sands is just terrible. There has to be a better option for a 4th/5th OF out there.

If I were an owner , when it came time to re-sign pitchers I'd definitely bring up every time they allow a hit on an 0-2 count. Fucking grooved it. Bad.

He had men at 2nd and 3rd with no one out and only gave up 1 run. That's good work.
