I said I predict. Sometimes when you predict things, you are wrong. Like the weatherman with snow or hurricanes. However, it is happening as I said, that the Sox, are continuing to slide. Hey Hey Hey its Fat Albers has not been good. Latos, as I also predicted, is regressing to the mean. They have no 5th starter, and Eric Johnson will not be that guy, even though he could be that guy. Abreu is not hitting anything. Frazier, has hit some homeruns and fireworks are fun, but his avg is less than his weight   . The rest of the lineup is so so, but Adam Eaton is hitting .300 so that is a good thing. Much like I said I wanted the Cubs to have a guy like Span, the Sox should have had a guy like Span, or Latos, to help them out to try and help with the division. In the long run, though, its just not feasable. The Cubs are going to win many championships for years to come, and will contend for many more Championships. The Sox will end up in 3rd place, or maybe 4th place, again predictions can go arye. But one thing is for sure is that the CUBS will be in the playoffs, while the Sox, like their fans, will be watching them on television!

Meanwhile, Denard Span is performing worse than his mediocre career numbers, and Jordan Zimmerman is hurt.

 Zimmerman. I knew there was another pitcher he had a hard on for, but couldn't remember exactly who that was.

How long will it last?

By May 23rd, they will have seen first place IN THEIR DIVISION for the last time. I am guessing well before that, but for sure by then.

My call was a good one in that the Sox have lost 4 straight series and 5 of 7 series since my prediction. They tied another and have only won 1 series since then. I did not anticipate KC and the Tribe struggling as long as they did, before showing some life. I may be off by a few days on when the Sox drop out of the division lead, but the main premise was correct. As I stated then, the Sox do not have top notch starters 3-5 and you can't contend with just 2 reliable starters. Plus, the offense is not that good either. I don't know where they rank in runners left on base, but it has to be up there. Terrible situational hitting.

Sox currently in first place by 2.5 games. Your call, as usual, was 100% wrong.

Keep in mind he said May 23 for the LAST time. Now he is saying "when the Sox drop out of the division lead," to cover his horse ass for if the drop to 2nd place for a few days.

fuck if I were a cub fan I'd be sharpening the razor and filling the sink, not worrying about the Sox.

Nice use of the subjunctive, Hatchetman.

3-5 starters have been fine actually. Rodon is going to be a beast at some point this year. Just need to bullpen to bounce back.

Agree on Rodon but I thought I heard they have lost literally every start from the #5 spot this year? (guess they were counting Danks as 5)

That's an issue, I think

Sox won the Miguel Gonzalez start against Texas I think.

Bruce LeVine said otherwise on Mully and Hanley. I thought that sounded off. Havent they had a five game win streak at some point?

When all else fails, move the goalposts. You might be the dumbest baseball fan on the planet.

Your next good call will be your first.
