Clayton Richard reminding people why he was so readily available last season from the Pirates. He's not missing many bats in mop up duty here.

Carlos Martinez has not lasted longer than 5 innings in any of his last 3 starts. He lost all 3 of those as well to fall to 4-4. He still has a respectable ERA around 3 1/2, but will face Jake Arrieta, so he will have no easy task today. LaStella gets the start at 3rd today over Baez, with Montero behind the plate, otherwise the lineup is the usual suspects.

Martinez has been very hittable in May. He has never taken a loss against the Cubs, but also has a 4.00 ERA in those appearances. Against Arrieta...Cubs should like their chances.

There is some weather, though...

He has also been TERRIBLE against LHP this season...and not good against LHP for his career. I like this lineup.
