I'm starting to think Hussra is trying to drum up support for some sports medical science side business he's got going on with all the medical diagnosis of the impact of shooting three pointers on one's health.

i've never really heard that shooting 3 pointers in practice is a strenuous activity before

Looking at Curry's numbers of attempts and how ridiculously beyond what any prior NBA player attempted in the history of the game, i'm can see ltg/rpb's "Curry's injuries" are cramping his game being the issue more than Curry himself being gassed. Esp since Curry played 100+ fewer minutes during the regular season than that George McFly guy did back in 96. Draymond looks tired. The Warriors as a whole looked in a funk last 2 games.

Barnes has been a complete non-factor this series (even Waiters is arguably having a better series) yet some team will still be dumb enough to give him a max contract this off-season. And there's a decent chance it will be the Bulls because of his Iowa basketball pedigree.

his injury is to his knee, not his arm or shoulder

where's your video? 10 is for wussies. Go for 100 25 footers in a row. I aimed low cuz I didn't wanna be responsible for someone on this board having a grabber on the playground in front of a bunch of kids. I bet you can shoot 100 25 footers and not break a sweat.

yea i forgot about that....dinged his elbow ? yeah surely the same as a knee injury which almost forced him to miss an entire series and which he himself claimed has not improved after resting it

i have no idea what you're even arguing here- that basketball players shouldn't practice so hard ?

I had JoJo English shoot 25 consecutive three pointers during a NBA Live 95 game and my Sega Genesis unit just shut itself down. This theory might be on to something.

Here, you can use this graphic over your face in the video if you want some anonymity:

Image

25 footers or further out;
100 of em;
have to draw iron or go in or the shot doesn't count;
can be on a stationary bike or not--your choice.

you have a camera phone and ball? grab a buddy and head down to the park or gym this holiday weekend and bombs away.

Don't SCOREHEAD out now, man, the board is counting on you.

i just want to be clear on your argument here , if i may

are you saying that because Curry shot so many 3's, both in game situations and in practice, that it wore out his arm ?

Bagels, just admit you'd be tired after shooting 100 25 footers. That's the obvious point that Hussra wants acknowledged

Although, half court shot contest might be a fun board outing

a) i might be, i don't know. i think i'm in pretty decent shape, i can do fairly rigorous cardio workouts without getting gassed...so i think i could do it just fine without keeling over or having my arm fall off

b) i have no idea what doing that would or wouldn't prove. we're not talking about Bagels the 39 year old message board poster who hasn't played basketball in like 5 years. we're talking about a guy who has trained his entire life to play his chosen sport, and who practices that sport every day.

again, i ask: is the claim here that Curry wore out his arm by shooting so many 3's ?

1) quit stalling.

2) Does Curry shooting 240 more 3's in the regular season than he--or anyone, or most TEAMS--ever shot before have something to do with him having strained everything and not being the same player we saw during the regular season? Seems like a good possibility. Apparently Steph Curry was on his own personal quest to get to 400 made 3's. is he injured? appears to be. is he tired? probably. who wouldn't be after the season he and the warriors had.

couple of twitter guys nailed Curry's total 3 attempts for the season, 886:

One in February:

One in November:

1) i'm at work buddy

2) no, it doesn't. you keep piling on the embellishments, now he's "strained everything". he has a knee injury. his dinged elbow, from your article:
Quote:
Curry took a while before getting up after banging his right elbow on a metal platform, leading to some significant swelling.

he wasn't just shooting normally and his arm fell off. He hit his elbow on a fucking metal platform. What the hell does that have to do with shooting 240 more 3's ?
