Bases loaded for the hottest Cubs hitter right now with a 3 run lead turns into a 5 run lead.

It's fun to watch Zobrist hit.

He's slowly erasing the haunting memory that was the Jeff Blauser era.

Woof. Can't believe Cubs are allowing dogshit hitters to go deep so often.

Probably wont, but the Cards have a rich history of big comebacks against the Cubs.

One time I got on the blue line downtown Cubs leading like 9-2 or something and it was 9-8 when I got to my stop. Eventually lost 11-8 or something 3 Homeruns by Pujols I believe.

Thats ONE of them

Some say Tony LaRussa is still asleep at the wheel to this very day.

Yeah there's been a ton. It's saying something that despite what his stats are I just don't trust Arrieta like I did last year .

I don't like the feel of this game at all.

Right now the Cubs are up by 3.

I feel as if they will win by more than 3.

I will not back down!

Though maybe I will pull an Elmhurst Steve.

"The Cubs only won by one run, but they were leading by 5 in the second inning so that score differential averages out to 2 and some decimals...which can easily be rounded to 3...which is close to more than 3."

Good thing he swung at that 3-0. I don't know when this trend started where everyone in the MLB is swinging 3-0 but it should probably stop.

Arrieta has been playing with fire quite a bit this season. I wish it were just a bump in the road, but I'm concerned.

Great, Coomdog and Hughes just said Bucknor missed an obvious strike 3.

The Arrieta implosion continues.

Listening to this game on SiriusXM but we have the KMOX feed. Mike Shannon sounds like he's calling the game from the front porch of his general store. There should be a banjo playing. This is an atrocity.
