I've been inspired by four things to lose some poundage in 2008:

A) MJH's Get Fit Challenge

B) Watching Rocky Balboa again (the guy is 60 fuckin' 1)

C) The Biggest Loser last night (some serious fat ass stuff there)

D) My oldest son grabbing my man boobs and laughing at me on a repeated basis

Beef Rockmore at 5'10" weighed 242.2 lbs at 5AM on January 2, 2008, and I vow to make every effort possible to turn back the clocks 20 years and drop 50 lbs by April 2, 2008.

It's a lofty goal, but GAME ON BITCHES!

Day Two: I gained 0.2 lbs after eating right and exercising like crazy yesterday. So far, this sucks.

I did take a humungous shit this morning though. It came out of the water and looked like the shaving cream in Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind.

You shouldn't be. 1-2 pounds a week is a good amount for weight loss. If you lose it too quickly your skin doesn't adjust and you get that flabby skin.
