Man, it's been awhile since I've seen it. Who was she in the movie? I don't remember Julianne Moore in it either.

Otis Wilson too!

I remember it being one of my first DVD purchases...played the train crash scene many times to demo my home theater.

The third one was MTV's Thunderdome. The 4th was Fury Road.

The part where Ford is talking on the phone to his attorney and the bells somehow give up his location outside the Merchandise Mart...

The bells timing is different in the actual scene compared to when they listen to a recording of the call later and filter everything and all that.

Bothers me!

Great movie, but this thread made me sad for the fact that we no longer have Houston Homer, OKC and Tom Skilling.

Sela Ward is an all-timer. Great voice too. I'd sell my soul to roll her tide. Or even to be that Barry Foote-looking male cheerleader.

I just cannot comprehend how, as a male cheerleader, you are that close to the holiest of the holies of hot women and don't walk around with a perpetual stiffie.

She was in Nothing In Common with Tom Hanks & Jackie Gleason in '82-83. She was the only reason I first watched that movie. Amazingly hot & always in clingy silk & leather.

But of course it wasn't enough for Hanks' character to keep banging her & make millions. He had to go all family & old timey then "fall in love" with the mousey DePaul prof he loved as a kid.

Sickening.

That was a great movie. More like '86 or '87.

Very underrated.
