How about Mel Gibson? Went from Braveheart to wearing a fucking puppet on his hand.

Well, yeah. That's because he told the world he hates Jewish people and black people. That will always end a Hollywood career.

The trifecta would have been him breaking bad on the pedophilia insanity that undergirds Hollywood....but that would have got him killed.

Just ask Elijah Wood!

Have you ever seen 25th Hour? That's a great movie.

He's versatile and likeable. Not a typical leading man but can carry a movie on his own. Even is some of his bad movies, a few were made because of contracts to do x number of movies, there are moments where he is great. He can bounce from TV to movies with no issues.

Can I get a ruling on John Cusack?

Though he pretty much just disappeared.

I don't think so. He's exactly what he should be. I was disappointed in this last show but some of that was the rest of the cast. I didn't like it though, I can't really recall why. I heard he was good in Boston Legal, Rescue me, and The Good Wife. I liked Spin City a lot.

I want to disagree but for the most part, that's right.

He was good in Better Off Dead though. Great script and characters around him.

He's the Jay Cutler of Hollywood. When everything is perfect...he's pretty decent.

I liked Crowe in his JT Walsh phase, eg, Body of Lies

He could do a remake of Breakdown.

I think High Fidelity is his best.

Samuel L. Jackson is still a fine actor. He works, a lot.

Some of the movies are shit, but he never is imo.

Plus, he's still in good/ great movies currently so I can't really put him in with the others

I’ve always wondered what happened with Michael Keaton. The guy is great in everything he’s in, but there was a point where he just stopped showing up in movies. Shame.

Isn't this question the premise of Sick Boy's theory of life from Trainspotting?

I would have to say Ewan McGregor. What has he done lately other than drive from England to South Africa in a motorcycle?

That's being quite kind. The show everyone wanted to like because of his situation, but was brutal. His performances on Larry David show and Good Wife shows he can still do it though, with at least semi-decent writing.

DeNiro was the obvious choice here, but I will also throw in Travolta from several years ago. His career died, was basically given a second chance after Pulp and then did any movie that was offered to him.

That's a valid point. Certainly not great... more like popular.
