COOMER IS SO BAD.

He is calling Bryant's home run like it might be caught on the track or at the wall...and it leaves Wrigley completely.

Now, on the air, he is trying to explain how that happened.

"When it is hit that high...you just can't tell!"

Damn!

It didn't even look like he got that one and it ends up on the street.

Once again, big thanks to the Houston Astros.

So did Len. It was deceiving.

I don't know why you would post such an obviously ridiculous thing like that ... there's no 'maybe' about it, fool.

He threw a great pitch and got the ground ball he was looking for. Baez trying to bare hand the ball on a wet field, with no chance at a double play was a boneheaded play.

I'm listening on the radio..I loved harry and would prefer he sang every stretch..but is that the best they got? Was he that shitty at singing? They gotta have a younger version of him on tape.

Looked very good there in the 8th. 2 strikeouts and a ground ball that should have yielded another out. After Strop and Rondon, he is probably the guy I trust most out of the bullpen. Perhaps evidence they need to upgrade some bullpen spots, but nonetheless...

That was very representative of his usual effort. I'm just glad they are using it, rather than the "guest conductor" when they do use the video. The Ernie Banks one is pretty good too.

That sounds like late 80's and 14 Budweiser in HC..I'd walk home from school n toss on wgn hoping the fame was in...still better than any guest conductor but he's gotta be better in year one or two when he was younger n didn't slur...or no?

That is the Harry that I remember best. The slurring older guy who gave you names spelled backwards. I'm fine with the more recent vintage.

Glad to see Cahill also pitching the 9th, if for no other reason than to avoid using Rondon in a non-save situation on a wet field.

Geeez......looking at the Wrigley stands after the last rain delay......it's almost as empty as a Sox game at U.S. Cellular!

Nice turn by Rizzo and Baez! Pretty routine win to get the home stand off to a good start.
