At the risk of being accused of math shaming or something, I love it when a cashier, usually a millennial, hits the wrong button on the register. The look of shear panic really cracks me up.

I had a total of $7.25, gave her $20.25, something went wrong with the register and she looked like a deer in headlights. I told her the change is $13 and she says, "thanks, I've always been bad at math". Bad at math? This is basic subtraction, not solving for "x".

yeah, handing over extra coins to make the change coming back all bills can be more trouble than it's worth. and don't even try to do something like give em $10.11 against a $9.36 total to try to get 3 quarters back instead of 4 pennies + silver.

what's up with millennials apologizing for their generation? I don't recall Gen-Xers ever being apologetic for our generation. Girl I'm dating's a millennial and she goes out of her way to listen to non-millennial music and, i guess, date non-millennial guys, b/c she says she doesn't like her generation or their music.
