Hendricks is the best fifth starter in baseball. Solid. Texas would have kept him if they thought he would have ever been this good.

Was at the Brewers game but was happy to see we swept. I think this is the beginning of the end for the Phillies. They had a nice start, but it's over.

Lackey now 5-2 (including a tough 1-0 loss mixed in) with 7 good innings, giving up just 1 run and 4 hits, with 6 strikeouts. What a good signing it was, to get Lackey! Especially on a club friendly 2 year deal. Zobrist now with 40 hits in the month of May! Cubs now at 20 games over .500 and 6.5 games up on Pittsburgh.

They made a nice start of it but it was over in March. They have some good young arms and need better hitting. Everyday lineup is pure shit.

Zimmermann = no Lackey
Span = no Fowler

Who is currently playing RF for the Cubs? Have you not noticed how many stellar defensive plays Heyward has? Do you not realize that he is going to end up going through a 2-3 week stretch, probably soon, that will put him at his career norms? Easily predictable because Heyward begins EVERY season like this. You'd know all of this if you were a baseball fan.
