To be clear of my offer to Kick Favre Fans ass, it was he who made the subtle threat that I wouldnt want to meet him face to face, but like so many other things, he backed down on that.

So CHUS, (As I am 100% sure you are reading this) maybe now you can address favreFan with your punch in the face theory.

Great response. Great thought.

If I took away your spank bank section the outrage would be off the charts.

I never bitched about the removal of the T&A sections. Not once. I didn't even ask why they were removed. You announced to the board that they took up too much space. Made sense to me.

WWN is correct(as usual).

I believe the correct term to use here is "His board, his rules" but the "His" is now a three headed god.

And if you don't like it, then there is the door.

I am going to say a few things and get them off my mind. Then I will sit back and let the usual people throw shit at me for reasons that have nothing to do with the content but with who posted them.

I really don't care who is running the board just that it runs in a semi coherent manner. May not like the mods but that is my problem as long as they do not infringe on the life of the board then it does not matter. That is what I think is the reason for the turmoil. The board is undergoing a change in moderating styles. The new ownership seems to be more hands on in that they are active posters. I also think they are a bit sensitive to peoples reaction to change. People don't like change, for better or worse for a lot of us this is a core of our social lives.

Second thing is the piling on of BigFan, Just like any time there is a regime change is a dictatorship when the old goes out the new guys and their buddies do their best to put down and rip on the outgoing old guy. Don't think I am spot on? How many statues of Saddam came crashing down? I will say though it is in bad taste, dude did a lot for us and this is how he is being treated. He could have been a dick and just down what others have down and abandoned it or closed it up . Instead he went out and found us the three jackass we are stuck with now.

Jake Arrieta has given up 2 or more runs in four of his ten starts. Jake Arrieta gets 8.1 runs of support per 27 outs. Jake Arrieta would not be 9-0 on the 2016 White Sox. Jake Arrieta does not decide to give up more runs knowing that the Cubs score more runs...nor does he ask the opposing pitcher how many runs he plans on giving up to make sure he keeps the game close.

This was an awful post. Very little has changed. We are all posting the same way. We are probably as hands off as BF was 2005-2007. Some posters have tried their best to get banned and others have made personal attacks that they never made on BF and they are still posting. BF regularly communicates with all of us and none of us have asked anyone to attack him.

The only answer is that we need a man with message board admin experience.

Bring back Keeping Score and make him an admin.

You seem to be suggesting Arrieta isn't as good as Sale.

Seriously, I don't think any pitcher "pitches to the score" in that they allow runs on purpose because they have a cushion. But I they have more leeway to attack hitters when working with a big lead. That might result in some meaningless runs scoring when the guy would have approached the hitters differently in a tight game.

Also, being human beings, whoever it is, is well aware of the game that he is in. When he's facing Matt Harvey who is mowing down your teammates you're in a different game than when you're hitters are slapping Alfredo Simon all over the park. That most certainly has an effect on the pitcher.

Finally, the same umpire is working the plate for both pitchers. They are both in a park with the same hitter's background, same shadows, etc. etc. on the given day they are pitching. That isn't true when comparing guys who pitched in different games.

Finally, I'm not sure why this is in this thread.

I responded to the post. Dr Ken or dolphin could have posted it and my response would have been the same. Besides on Sunday you said everything was fine UNLESS KeepingScore was posting. We've learned that KeepingScore isn't posting.

I responded to what you wrote. You said we were hands on. Outside of allowing guest posting and nude photos we couldn't be more hands off. You said we were sensitive but we have a guy like Ike doing all he can to get banned and others making personal attacks on all of us. None of the posters have been banned. As I said your post is bullshit. The same people making comments to BF have done it many times in the past.

You made an offer to KS to fight in a boxing ring with equipment and loser leaves the board forever. Since you talk so much shit about me, but back down like a little bitch when called on it, I'd like to know if that offer extends to me as well. We can set this up in the next few weeks. This isn't street violence or threats of assault either. Just a boxing match. Loser gets permanently banned.

A pitcher's win - loss record is affected by the team they play for.

Jake Arrieta would be the same pitcher on all 30 MLB teams. He would not have the same W/L on all 30 MLB teams.

If Jose Quintana pitched for the Cubs, he would have a winning record. You'd refer to him as a winning pitcher.
