After beginning the season strong (fools gold) and reaching a point where the team was 13 games over .500, the Sox are 11 games under .500 and slipped into 3rd place. They have lost 6 straight series' and 7 games in a row now. At what point do they slip under .500? I'll say sometime between June 8-12.

Doesn't matter.

You're in more dire need of a blowjob than any white man in history.

As poorly as they have played over the last 3 weeks, I would say its more likely this team returns to 1st place between June 8-12 than they are to slip under .500

How about making a wager on it? If they are under .500 anytime between June 8- June 12th, I win the bet. If they are in first place at any time between June 8-12, you win the bet. If neither occurs, it's a push. Say $100.00?

That's not really important, I knew he wouldn't take the bet. It was more a matter of gauging just how much he truly believed in what he had posted and obviously he had no conviction in his statement at all.

Well, well, it looks like tomorrow could be the day. the lowly White Sox have fallen to 29-29 and with a loss to the Nationals tomorrow, will fall under .500 in the precise time frame I predicted. You are lucky you backed off my proposed bet Frank.

I look forward to a certain group of people completely bashing the "new 3" for allowing ^^this person^^ to post here.

I mean......for years to come. That's what you guys do. It was one of your "fall backs".
He's here now. Let's hear it. Don't stop.
Don't stop until he's gone.
Be relentless. Just like before.

ES deserves all of the blame he gets. I do not question that. He's a loser.

BUT! Be sure to blame the people that are allowing him to continue to post....just like you did before.

Did any of the whining have any effect before?

If people can't accept that the Sox are just nowhere near as good as they had thought early in the season they were, that's their problem. I said they would come back to earth, that they were not that good and had serious issues with the offense as well as the 3-5 starters. now they pick up Shields.....okay, but he has lost his last 12 decisions to teams with records above .500. So how confident are you feeling about him facing the Nationals tomorrow? That is why I'm feeling really good about my prediction coming through tomorrow. Not my fault. Blame the Sox management. I said they should sell off Melky, Abreau and even Sale and do a total rebuild, with draft picks and top prospects from other teams. Instead Hahn trades for Frazier and Lawrie, signs Latos and now trades for Shields and is going for it. All he has done is ensure a worse draft pick for the club and taken on even more salary. Don't shoot the messenger when the team is under .500.

There aren't any new posters here. It's the same board that it has been for years. We are who we are.

Let's hear the non-stop blame for allowing him to post. Has he changed?
Have the rest of you?

It's my understanding that racist posters are not allowed to be here.

You are the poster child of the racist poster around here.
Well, you and another lonely little fella...but that's probably looked upon differently.

My prediction is looking real good, while yours is looking very shaky as the Sox have fallen to 4th place now.

Yeah, the guy who let him post before let all of Steve's racist posts stand. Not one was deleted, and when he took shots at my wife (so im told), it was only after people started bitching about it that the post was deleted.

If Steve's racist thoughts are allowed to stand here, then yes the "3 wisemen" will be bashed and deservedly so. There have already been Ike posts with racial issues that have been pruned. I have no doubt they will do the same thing when he posts some of his bullshit.

I guess Frank is ready to concede that I called it correctly that the Sox would fall under .500 after all and NAILED the date inside the 4 day window as well. Instead of addressing the subject of the thread, he tries to change the subject now. I said in a previous thread that the Sox would fall out of first place on May 23rd and missed the date by just days. Now I am on the verge of nailing the date they fall under .500. They will not see first place again this season. 3 teams ahead of them now. Frank thought it more likely they would be back in first place by this date..

2015 White Sox - 28-30 (58 games)
2016 White Sox - 29-29 (58 games)

All with Eaton MVP start, Frazier 3B, Lawrie instead of Beckham, No Dank/Flowers/Alexei, Melky playing well....

Unlike you Steve, I can admit when I was wrong. The Sox are not likely to return to 1st place anytime soon.

29-29 is not under .500. The one chance you might have to brag about finally getting something correct, and you fuck it up by possibly blowing your wad a day early.

This would be like you telling a customer, "Hey the job is completely done, doesn't everything look great," and the customer walks in to find blue tape all over the walls.

With a Cy Young award winner going for the Nationals and Shields, who had lost his last 12 games VS an opponent that was over .500, I was pretty confident the Sox would lose this one before it began. I didn't anticipate Shields' start being quite the unmitigated disaster it was, but pretty sure he and the Sox would lose.
