Hard to argue with that. I hope he turns it around when it matters.

Good prediction....but does it come from baseball intuition, a hatred of the Mets, or both?

No, I mean I don't want to see him get hot in late summer when they're 6.5 games out of the wild card. Had enough Albert Belle-garbage time stats to last me a while.

disappointing at bat after disappointing at bat from him

He's perpetually 0-2 and swinging at anything that breaks on the outside corner. It's like Dunn and Laroche passed on the mantle to him.. The worst part of it is he always seems to be up with runners in scoring position and he fails time and again

Taking Eaton out in a double switch is a dumb move IMO.

what drives me nuts is when batters get into these month long slumps and don't change anything. I'd try batting lefty for crissakes. couldn't be any worse.

Lol...I wish I could take credit for it..I was just posting an update and a thought AFTER Frazier went deep... I've never seen a team give up 11 walks in a game and its 1-1 in 11th.

Wonderful work with the sac fly but Abreu is yet again goose egged in the game.

I think the window may have slammed shut for him.

Wasn't expecting that....speed and left-handed power won this one.

And the throw home was closer to third base than home plate helped out too.

The DPs (double plays) were a nice touch today.

Congrats to the White Sox for being the first Chicago team in over 8 months to win a game at Citi Field.

I was listening in the car and the Farmer call was awful. They had spent the previous few minutes talking about how slow Albers was. When the sac fly happened, Farmer made it sound like it was a routine play which lead me to think it was too short to get him in or he wasn't bothering to tag. He nonchalantly said that Albers scored a tie breaking run in the 13th inning
