south side Irish Sox fan during a 7-2 start to a season and all he can talk about is the Cubs. Hanley is more even handed in his coverage. It kind of reminds me of the days of Murph and Fred when they painted it as a Cub and Sox fan but Fred would kowtow to Murph.

Mully is a bit of a classic Cub hating (good natured) Sox fan too so its probably really obvious.

See, I don't get that from Mully at all. He's a typical negative Sox fan. The Sox are 7-2 and his take on it this morning with Gammons was that "they aren't scoring". He comes off like a guy who wishes he could root for the Cubs but is stuck as a Sox fan due to an accident of birth.

I listened a few years back and it seemed like he played the role of the Sox fan and included the anti Cub thing. Also, he kinda maligned the Cubs getting coverage. But like I said, good natured, like him and Hanley as rival fans

Sox fans living on the North Shore are just living in denial.

Even in the case of Reinsdorf whose kids grow up on the show as Cub fans, do you just then say "OK, now we are ONLY Sox fans"...ehhh

Same thing with the GM, the guy loves Baseball, attended tons of Cubs game vai the Linden El and under Big Fans guidance avoiding the dangers of the 421 bus down Wilmette Ave...

Sorry, just dont believe the "OK, now I am just a Sox fan" Sorry, not buying it

If I owned the fucking team and the competition was constantly killing me from a business perspective, damn straight I would hate them.

Well, my wife is a Sox fan by an accident of marriage. She wasn't a big fan of sports other than boxing before she met me. I really don't think I could date a Cub fan.

I'm not a South sider but I was never a Cub fan. My dad was a Sox fan so I'm a Sox fan. That's usually how it goes.

I couldn't date anyone who was a sports fan. Sports is what I do to GET AWAY FROM YOU!! No I do not want to talk about Carlos Rodon's slider with my wife.

Mully one upped Lester on Ross being an all star this year. He sounds almost like a parody at this point.

I think the best they have ever been is workmanlike. That is pretty high praise at today's Score but it's not something for which to aspire

Pretty good take. Still better than the option down the dial.

M&H is all I can listen to on the Score besides Cubs broadcasts. They used to be my least favorite show. That's how far the station has fallen in my mind.

Ron Coomer in studio today giving you unbiased opinions on the Cubs

I can see why Cubs fan's opinions are so unconnected to reality when the "professional" analysis they receive is as disconnected as well

I can't listen to this terrible show, but I have a question: is Coomer as "professional" as Steve Stone has been in his "unbiased" views of the Cubs over the past few years?

There are multiple threads every year regarding the biased ridiculousness of Stone

did that actually ever happen.

I doubt Farmio could handle the long form of four hours of talk.
