Just saw a commercial that Alec Baldwin and who knows who else is bringing back The Match Game.

For even thinking about it they should be thrown into a three-story tire fire, never mind actually producing such an abomination.

Ye gods.

Dunno, this could be the greatest dumpster fire in tv history (after Thicke of the Night).

But, Gene Rayburn was a twisted character acting genius.

I saw that there is going to be a remake of Mary Poppins. Does anyone in Hollywood have an original idea?

They are apparently jumping on the "Celebrity Game Night" trend. Because there's nothing idiots and jimmypasta love more than watching their favorite celebrities playing Family Feud, Match Game, and the $50,000 Pyramid (I guess they're bringing that back, too).

All crap.

Sorry Don & Boyd but I DO enjoy Match Game even as a young man. Oh how I fantasized about a threesome with Fannie Flag & Brett Somers!

Both jimmy and my mult apparently misunderstand my post.

I adore the old Match Game and other old-timey gameshows. I literally can, and have, watched them for hours on end.

I am apoplectic that insipid schmucks in the present are exhuming a number of these shows for the purpose of filling summer air-time with their schlock.

I'm on the outside looking in but I could pen a letter to Angela Lansbury's people if you're interested.

Snoop Dogg would be the worst partner for Pyramid because his speech would be so laconic. You only have 30 seconds to describe these seven things associated with planning a dinner party, come onnnnnn!

I'm just bitching about an incessant need to kill broadcast hours with shitty remakes of classic games.

Also, the only way I'm watching Celebrity Family Feud (unless my wife puts it on when I'm not in the room) is if they somehow resurrect Richard Dawson to host.

You're a sick dude, jimmy. Brett Somers was not attractive. However, I will admit that a young JORR may have spanked it to Fannie Flagg and Elaine Joyce.

Now you're talking.

Also, I'm pretty sure Fannie was/is a lesbian, so ... good luck with that.

Count a young brogue in on the Elaine Joyce bandwagon.

Fanny was hot. I bet if it were in fashion back then, a lot of guys would've went trans just to get in her bathroom.
