Loss is on Arietta and Maddon for sitting Rizzo.

Anytime Montero wants to serve a fucking purpose would be great. Ross is out hitting him. Contreras is doing circles around him and don't get me started on what Beef is doing in AZ. Unless they think Contreras is going to be the best catcher in baseball I want him packaged with something to get Lucroy and Will Smith from the Crew. Montero can go hit .200 wherever the hell he wants...i don't care what they get back for him.

108 pitches is nothing. Cubs are going to lose some games and yes so is Jake. You should know that. Look at how Sale has pitched his last few outings.

Walt it is not like he pitched 125 pitches stretching it into the 6th or 7th inning. I thought pitching Sale a day early and then extending his pitch count to over 110 I believe was a dumb move for the Sox, but this is different. Arrieta was pitching on full rest on a mild summer day with little pressure to go out and win besides his normal amount of desire for a win.

I have no problem with how he was handled today. Jake will be fine.
