As I said this morning, I have always valued my relationship with bigfan. In my experience he has always been a good guy. But in this situation he is just 100% wrong. It's not a dispute where one side sees things one way and the other sees it a different way and there are gray areas. He's just wrong.

It seems to me that he had second thoughts about turning the site over to others and those thoughts intensified as we made minor changes and in particular allowed certain people to post again. He could have simply said, "Look guys, I've changed my mind. This is my baby and my emotional attachment to CSFMB is greater than I thought." There would have been no problem. Instead, he did what he did. It showed a total disregard for anyone who ever used the site, including jimmypasta and Score is Doomed. Whether they believe that or not.

I absolutely hate that this has gone down the way it has.

That may or may not be the case. But in fairness to bigfan as well as Nas, Seacrest, and me, that was never a big consideration in this situation. Monetization never had anything to do with this on either side.
