Poster A: I assert that this is why this happened!

Poster B: Can you provide proof and evidence to back up your assertions?

Poster A: Uh, did you miss the part about this being a more grown up board? I'm not talking into your elaborate scheme!

Poster B: So....do you have any proof to prove your assertions...?

He also said this whole thing happened because of the Matty threads.

I don't know what's up and what's down.

You should go read the thread about how this will be a more grown up version of the board. It's really killing you that I'm not falling into your trap isn't it?

What trap? You've made assertions and I'm simply asking for you to provide proof to validate your assertions.

Seems pretty cut and dry.

Do you have proof or not?

That I will post in an open forum, nope. That could be sent privately.....ohhhhh the plot thickens.

Okay, so you don't.

The plot is as thin as ever.

What's in this for you? What's your angle? You must really be tight with "THE DRINK". You've known him since you were a kid, right? Were you his best man at both of his weddings? Are you gonna be his best man for the 3rd marriage?

I've given more information on this situation to Col Nathan R Jessup and the Lord Our God. Those are the only proper authorities that I'm aware of.

Why was the Gawker thread deleted? Was Sam Biddle gonna release the fucking fury on us for posting that video of him dancing to "N!gg@s in Paris"?

I think this is the closest we will get to you admitting that you have no evidence or proof to back up your assertions.

the foundation of the relationships that you have with the rest of us cretins was founded on creeping on some famous radio folks. Some of us did a lot of work to get this from words on a page to human interaction. That's why we had Cubs/Brewers/Sox outings, Bowling events, LakemoorFest, OsloberFest, Bulls Games, why some of you came to see me, Darko, and Frank play in various bands, why we meet up for Bears game viewings.

Granted, a lot of this has fallen off over the past few years since there wasn't a need to do so...as it had been established.

So, please don't shit on the history just because I have a fondess for Dan McNeil that allowed the above to happen...

You don't need to creep on some radio folks to make friends or interact with people.

From the Bernstein threads to the DiCaro thread to the McNeil threads to the drinky thread, and so on...some of that seems unhealthy, to say the least.

Much like RPB, Doug is also needy and wants to feel he's part of things...real or perceived.

Just nod, smile and walk away.

Just commenting on the passing scene. No offense meant to anyone mentioned.

I love you all.

Agreed, and I will do my best to help with that (honestly).

I think that's above you (honestly).

Please prove me wrong.

I'll do my best if you agree to try to stop with your unfunny one-liners that you bring weekly.

I was watching this for about the tenth time the other night and I noticed that Danny was doing his lawyer thing with an Orioles-Twins game on in the background. In the movie it was supposedly a Friday night. The particular game Danny had on was the one where Randy Milligan hit a walk-off double to end Minnesota's 15 game winning streak. The problem is, that game was on a Monday.

For some reason I am a able to suspend disbelief during Lt. Caffey's unrealistic cross-examination speechifying, but I just cannot accept this error.

 I'm sure there are other threads that mention A Few Good Men but I stuck "Jessup" in the Search and this was the first one that came up.
