I don't understand the "parents were emotional" defense Juice is trying to run here. If you are really emotional, any inappropriate comments you are likely to make in a letter like that would be highly emotional and possibly offensive in how volatile they are. This isn't that. The dad is as indifferent to the sexual assault as one person can possibly be, and expressing that in clear words here. That's not a "mistake" or an "error in judgment" due to high emotional stress. It's pretty clear that's just how he views what happened.

Honestly had only seen it quoted. I checked four WaPo articles about the case, even about the "20 minutes" shit, and they still refused to post the full text of the letter.

Pretty impressive letter she wrote(?) and read to his face. Least the shitbag could have done was show some remorse...and the father shows the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

I imagine that I would acknowledge what my son did was wrong but I would still defend him and say he's a good person. I wouldn't throw my kids under the bus for any reason.
