The Braves have the worst home record in the major leagues and it's not likely to improve with the Cubs coming to town. Jason Hammel (7-1 2.14 ERA) will face Bud Norris (1-7 5.28 ERA) tonight in what would appear to be a bad matchup for Atlanta. With Arrieta and Lester to follow, it is going to be a challenging weekend for the Bravos. Chis Coghlan rejoins the team and should be very happy to be back. I rarely expect a sweep, but I will not be surprised if the brooms come out again on Sunday.

Norris has been pitching better lately and Arrieta is obviously done.

Cubs lose first two and our ace gets us a win on Sunday to avoid the sweep.

Anthony Rizzo out, day-to-day with back soreness.

So ... yeah.

Good time to be out against this squalid squad I guess.

Manny Alexander is making a run as we speak.

Good health is right around the corner.

Worst loss of the season. Was a matter of time until Hammel sucked again. Fuck this.

Someone needs to inform him it's not the second half just yet.

He is starting earlier this season. I will give him a pass tonight. Cubs have hit at em balls all night. Norris has been fortunate to say the least.

If Jake don't have it today, pull him early and skip his next start..I don't give a shit about winning 115 games and running out of gas in the post season.. I'd rather win 91 games and a ring.
