I've only seen Part 1 so I don't know how it ends.

But he seems like a wonderful guy.

I can already tell this is going to be excellent.

Sad.

Our manufacturing industry is so crippled, we have to brag about orange juice.

OJ was marketed as the safe black athlete for White America to embrace.

Part 1 was very good.

That was definitely the contrast.

Ali-Jim Brown-John Carlos-Tommie Smith on one side and OJ as the antithesis of their movement.

Just watched this. Damn, OJ was a hell of a runner. Little before my time but I'm sure someone here saw him.

I thought it was telling about his father. I'd never heard that before, but now that I have(& from his best friend in detail), it explains a lot. Talking about the start of his relationship with Nicole Brown was almost as bad.

I originally thought this series was a waste, but now I'm not so sure.

Yeah, that surprised me about the father, too. I'd never heard that.

The reviews on this are beyond excellent. I think you should stick with it.

I was watching in real time when that Bababooey moment happened. Forget what network it was, thinking NBC? It was some big name guy who had to apologize for the Stern fan successfully trolling them.

How many hours of tv do you watch a week, Dr Ken?

Also, how's your other board's suicidal poster doing?

Let us know if they acknowledge that CTE might have something to do with Juice going off the rails.

I think it was ABC, because it was Peter Jennings who got fooled, and Al Michaels jumped on the line to let him know it was a prank call.

The guy who made the call was pissed because the network switched from the Knicks/Rockets finals game to show the OJ chase.

And Bababooey to y'all.

Yeah. It was Peter Jennings and ABC. Al Michaels called in to tell Jennings it was a hoax cuz he knew about the Howard Stern thing.

Here it is.

I know I'm a child. But hearing that cracks me up every time. You got this goof pulling this off and the serious tone of Peter Jennings. That's awesome. Plus, it exposes these stupid TV people for not vetting the callers when the Stern people get them.

About 4.

He didn't do it. But he's still thinking he wants to.

Will do.

Dr Ken, OITNB?

Going to their Season 4 watch/premiere party at some sports bar in NYC Friday night. If anyone here is around NYC, it's only $100 per head for 3 hours of open bar. And there will be actual prison bitches there. At least I'm hoping.

I know fuck-all about Orange is the New Black, except that it copies some Aussie shows.

I haven't heard much conversation about Simpson and CTE. Seems like a, um, no-brainer.

I watched Season 1 and thought it was great.

Never watched another episode.

'Cus that's how I roll. Keep 'em guessing.

I usually watch Game of Thrones 3 times, 4 if I have the time.

If only 3, I'll throw in an ESPN doc or Myron Mixon smoking show or Casino Royale.

I love the calls where the caller runs out of material because the tv station hangs with him for so long.

You notice that women don't really make these calls. Is there something wrong with us?

Never knew his father was gay.

Also never knew that he stole Margarite from AC.

Lots of cool stuff. John Rauch was a huge tool. He coached the Raiders. Not sure if the Bills stole him or he was fired. Madden became Raiders coach then. Lou Saban did save OJs career.

I saw OJ as a kid. He was the fastest guy in the NFL and was deceptively strong as well. A true threat to go the distance every time he touched the ball.

This isn't a documentary on O.J. It's a documentary on the history of racism in L.A. Sure, every now and then the director tells a little bit about O.J and how he wanted to be around white people and what a scum bag he is. But it's about racism in L.A.

Which is fine. But don't trick people by calling it a Doc on O.J.
