Correct. Did Ted Cruz kill some LGBT's?

No, but he supports pastors who believe that being gay deserves the death penalty.

There are pastors who want to kill gays? Who and where are they?

Give me a fucking break. it's in about 1,000 places. Look it up. Not playing your stupid ass games.

I agree. It's very important to hold people responsible for their actions, like making bets.

This is why some TV people suck when this shit happens.

Don Lemon (Whom I've always despised) sends it to break with an excited "We'll be back with more on the worst mass shooting in American history".

It's fun for Lemon and others like him. They actually love this shit cuz they know they get their shine when events like this happens.

I wonder if Omar Mateen attended this speech by Sheikh Farrokh Sekaleshfar in Orlando in 2013?

The Husseini Islamic Center of Sanford, FL invited Sheikh Farrokh Sekaleshfar to speak at their Mosque. Dr. Sekaleshfar says the killing of homosexuals is the compassionate thing to do. In a 2013 speech Sheikh Sekaleshfar said this regarding gays, “Death is the sentence. We know there’s nothing to be embarrassed about this, death is the sentence … We have to have that compassion for people, with homosexuals, it’s the same, out of compassion, let’s get rid of them now.”

When Sheikh Sekaleshfar calls for the death of all homosexuals based on the tenets of Islam it can not be ignored, he is an expert on Shariah Islamiyya or Islamic Law.

Islamic Law also mandates a death sentence for blasphemers and apostates, does Sheikh Sekaleshfar and the Husseini Islamic Center Mosque advocate those legal rulings as well?

Also disturbing to some was the response to this call for killing gays from Rev. Bryan Fulwider of the Interfaith Council of Central Florida.

Rev. Fulwider said, “These issues around homosexuality and the decrying of it or denouncing of it by religion takes away, often, from our really important task of helping our community to be a better community … and wishes congregations would focus more on helping the homeless, poor , and abused instead of persecuting a group that can take care of itself.”

This tepid response from Rev. Fulwider is problematic because he refuses to denounce the Husseini Islamic Center Mosque for promoting a speaker who calls for the murder of homosexuals. Rev. Fulwider can’t even say that calling for the murder of gays is wrong. Fulwider concludes by adding insult to injury, saying don’t worry about the gays they can take care of themselves.

Equally as troubling is the leadership at the Husseini Islamic Center Mosque never condemn or disagree with the words spoken by their speaker about the killing of gays – silence is consent.

I wouldn't accept it. A fine man as yourself shouldn't have to cover the debts of a degenerate loser like Scorehead. This is about doing the right thing. This guy has preached personal responsibility for years, yet when he has the chance to exercise some, he chooses to not do so. Apparently, $1000 is more important than his good name.

I can sympathize with the refugees, but at some point don't they need to stand up and defend their country from within? If all of the capable people are allowed to leave, all that does is increase the likelihood of a failed state. I'm not saying it's easy, but it seems like a better long-term solution than just letting everyone move. And as for assimilation, this shooter seems to have been here a while...

You guys are all funny. You take a complex situation then apply a bias based on your own beliefs then make absolute arguments about a terrible incident. It's mental mastubation really and solves nothing. But you all feel real good about spouting off so there is that.

I'm glad we are bringing up Syria. Hey, anyone else want to get a look at what happens when Muslims take over a country? Huh?

One, you cannot blame the Syrian Civil War on the USA. Not even in the slightest. Nor can you blame France and the UK for Sykes-Picot almost 80 years after that game was played. If you're going to argue the tired old "not all muslims!" shit then you dont get to simultaneously lament the misdrawing of borders. Cant be a multiculturalist at home and then have a ethnic deterministic view that MENA countries cant exist without ethnic homogeneity. If you think Islam can peacefully exist in our country where it is about 1% of the population then it should have no problem exiting in Syria, a country that is probably more than 90% Muslim now.

But Islam can not exist peacefully. Not in Syria or Lebanon or Libya or Iraq or Afghanistan or Yemen. Name a failed state, any failed state and dollars to donuts there is a substantial population of Muslims causing major problems. Even big regional hegemons fall to it. Egypt went from secular dictatorship (bad), to Islamic "republic" (worse) and now its being run by the Egyptian military and probably will for a long time. Persians dont even take religion half as seriously as the Arabs do, but look at what Islam did to Iran. A 10 year war with its neighbor that is still the deadliest conflict since WW2 ended and a repressed society that isn't being allowed to properly modernize. The war with Iraq started less than a year after the Ayatollah took power. The Shah was bad, but goddamn at least he didn't start wars with anyone and everyone.

You cannot let it into your society. As an oppressed minority maybe, but it must be kept as a very small minority and be constantly under societal pressure from elsewhere. The instant it is allowed to grow shit gets bad, quickly. A sampling:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rotherham ... on_scandal
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rochdale_ ... cking_gang
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peterboro ... abuse_case
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keighley_sex_gang

That's what happens when they dig in. It makes the Catholic church look like fucking nothing. You got kids? You better be worried. These people are flooding into the West and they have absolutely zero regard for our norms, customs or laws. I saw FavreFan call the Islamic invasion not even in the top 10 of the USA's problems and you know what? He's right. As for right now they are under control because the American public (rightly) doesn't trust them. But go look at Europe if you want to see where that problem will rank in the future. You can trot out the old feel good "religion of peace" shit if it makes you comfortable, but that is in no way founded in reality.

Islam is a disease. Its not our place to fix the problems its caused in the MENA, but it is our resposibility to get it the fuck out of our country an the rest of the West. UK, France, Germany, Canada, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Italy, Finland...the alliance between the USA and those countries has been the basis of an unprecedented run of global peace stretching back to 1945. If and when Islam takes over those countries that peace wont last. It is the great struggle of our time.

I don't know what the answer is with regard to refugees. But let's pretend they weren't Muslim. They were just a group of people who thought homosexuals should be put to death, believed women are subservient to men, etc. and a small percentage of them would carry out horrible acts based on their terrible ideas. Would you feel differently about them?

I must have missed the Mormons carrying out horrible acts based on their fucked up beliefs. Even so, Mormons are obviously fair game to be mocked and denigrated by liberals. It's only Muslims that have this bizarre protection from so-called liberals.

So we should stop interfering in the Middle East but we should also be taking a huge amount of Middle East refugees?

How about we let the actual Middle East countries that could help actually help? If Mexico was having a major refugee crisis I doubt that Germany and Norway are jumping to take in huge numbers.

It's a regional crisis. Let the regional powers take care of it.

We need to tighten our immigration policies. This isn't WW2 where the United States needed huge amounts of refugees. We are doing just fine without them.

But no, this isn't a good example of why we shouldn't take the refugees. There are other better examples.

Ultimately though, victim blaming the United States and other countries for "causing this" is dumb. The rich and powerful in the Middle East need to put a stop to it. That isn't likely to happen when one of the largest and most important Middle Eastern countries will kill you for possession of a Bible. Is it any shock that ISIS and others think this kind of stuff is ok?
