Might want to go ahead and stop following the NBA then. You're going to hear a lot more talk about it over the next few years.

You'll probably be the only one talking about it.

Yeah. Good call.

If they match up I have him to definitely outplay him.

Something tells me they will put Thompson on Irving but if they put Curry on Irving and vice versa Irving on Curry (which I expect) then Irving will get the better of the matchup. They have to guard each other. If there is cross matching then all bets are off.

Even better call.

Just wondering how silly this actually was in retrospect.

I hope so, but getting four flagrants in the post season is just dumb.

I think Steph drops 40 on the Cavs and GS wins 103-98

yes, because Curry isn't guarding Irving every play. that's all you need to know

Game 3. Irving drops 16 to Curry's 0 during the first quarter. Klay Thompson proceeds to guard Irving for the rest of that game and the entirety of Game 4. Irving after the first quarter of game 3 has been the primary assignment of Thompson. I stated that if they were matched up Irving would outplay him. It is pretty evident that he has. Once they move Thompson over that ends the debate.

I also stated how weak of a defender that Curry is and that is also evident. For the second series in a row they have taken him off of his primary assignment in order to hide him on defense. Those are facts not opinions. Irving is still guarding Curry yet he is considered both the weaker defensive and offensive player.

He isn't guarding him on any plays unless there is a switch via pick and roll. Thompson has the cover now and he has had since the end of game 3 first quarter. 16-0 nothing sounds pretty dominant to me how about you?

Irving will be going home tonight along with james and the rest of this sorry bunch so I really don't care about anything else

You can sit here arguing how great Irving is while the Warriors have another parade

I am a basketball fan. I have no investment in seeing either team win to be honest. Probably prefer Cleveland. I just don't want to hear about the greatness of Curry when I have just seen him get thoroughly outplayed in two consecutive series. Can't be the greatest of all time when its arguable if you are even the best player on your own team. For the 3 most important series of his career he hasn't been the best player on his own team. He is probably the only hall of famer on his own team. Usually i'd be bashing Lebron but not this time. He at least is a top 10 player. I kept hearing about his gaudy stats and greatest this and that, yet he keeps getting his ass outplayed. I called it and was disagreed with but lets not move the goal post or pitching mound. You thought he would outplay the guy and it didn't happen. I'm not going to digress to team success just yet. I really don't care who wins because I'm no Lebron fan either. At least he has a history of stepping up when it matters.

Kevin Love is selling Cleveland out. I'm a Kevin Love fan but that trade has been disastrous for Cleveland. To think they almost traded Klay Thompson for him. No impact at all.

Right! Barnes was in that trade too.

This series made me think about that trade. Apparently Love and Klay are childhood friends.

Delladova gives you nothing at this stage of the game.

Great displeasure of going with Curry. Delly's 15 minutes expired about a year ago. Another overrated guy, though on a much lower scale. He is not even an NBA professional. Beneficiary of being on a team that is well above the cap.

Cleveland's body language is much better tonight. They appear to be all business. I think they will fade in the 4th.

Regardless of how the series turns out it is painfully obvious by now that this was not a silly post. Irrefutable at this point.

Shouldn't LeBron James be switched over on Klay? For yrs they have talked about how he can shut guys down. If ever there was a time this is it.
