'Fun' with respect to it's a home game thus Hawkless so one can have it on the TV without risking aural bleeding ... I love all baseball ... I just love the Sox and Cardinals losing and, even moreso, the Cubs winning most acutely but wouldn't even watch a Cubs game if Hawk was calling it.

This has been a great series. This game should be over, as Rondon threw strike 3 to Harper twice that the umpire blew the calls on, but I'm glad to see the game go on a bit longer, as long as the Cubs win it. Tomorrow is an off day, so no reason to worry about using the bullpen up. I can easily see these two teams meeting up in the NLCS and having a great series.

This has been exceptional. I love how it's young guys like Almora and Russell with big hits to go ahead. If it were just Rizzo and Zobrist and other older established players getting it done, it wouldn't be as exciting. But these guys should be cornerstones of a team that should be contending for many years.
