The Cardinals offense has been pretty good this season. Perhaps losing Heyward has been beneficial in that regard. But the pitching has been lackluster. Taking 2 of 3 would be good, but looking at the matchups, I can envision a sweep, which would be so great in terms of creating a division between the teams that might start to look insurmountable. Molina has surprised me this season. I was hoping he was about done and he's hitting .274 . He doesn't have the power he did a few years ago, but he's hitting again. I had hoped after the thumb injury that he would never be much of a hitter again.
