He was very clear on the terms of the deal. He knows he isn't supposed to be running a competing message board. But he can do what he wants. It's his reputation. A non-compete would have been pointless. We weren't going to sue over a damn message board.

Bigfan gave me a lot of shit about my friends. Put me in the middle of a few things.

Ultimately bigfan was always good to me. Several of my friends he didn't treat so well.

idk man, i wouldn't call him a lunatic.... i'd just call him a guy who was used to a certain amount of status/domain/power over a community and thus RESPECT (whether legit or spawned from negativity/fear/etc) from the community. once it came time for the board to transfer over ultimate/final authority i think we got a glimpse into the e-psyche of a guy who had spent, what, 12-13+ years being the undoubted leader of not just a board, but a community.

they say you'll never fully appreciate what you lost until it leaves you; welp once you were getting to the end of the proper divorce things got bitter and i think we saw that biggie probably liked his position/status/etc a little bit more than he'd ever formally ever admit to. does that mean that he's an out-n-out BAD guy or some kind of psychopath? nope! it just means that he was human, and in the end you know what they say about power corrupting and absolute power corrupting absolutely; it just goes to show that no matter how much ANY of us wanna admit that we're "too cool for school" aka "can't be arsed' regarding this board and our standing/status relative to the community that we all probably deep down care juuuuust a little bit more than we'd care to admit.

honestly, if i was in el bagman grande's shoes and i was about to give up being the de-facto "old testament god" of this'ere community you know there'd be some drama/fireworks/"FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU YOU'RE COOL FUCK YOU FUCK YOU I'M OUT"-scene theatrics on the way out..... especially knowing that there was about to be a "new testament" that was just about to come along and rewrite everything about the way it was ~2yrs ago, aka when EVERYTHING was better!
