wait what.... there's a no compete clause? what are you competing for? does this site (still?) run ads? i've had adblock pro on for years but now that i think about it i kind of remember some menial banner ad deals up top and maybe below posts back in the day, but nothing that ever screamed "THIS SITE IS RAKING IN THE DOUGH!!!!" cuz if anything that stuff was prolly jus there to grab a handful of pennies/nickels here and there to literally chip in a few bucks towards hosting costs, not to turn a $$$PROFIT$$$ cuz uhhh.....i dont think you run a board like this if you wanna turn a profit, you know what i'm saying?

I think it's open season if he had a non compete. That speaks to the type of business character he has. I don't want to go further and try to diagnose the guy, but violating terms of a sale is something his real life profession wouldn't look kindly upon.

oh wow.... so he is gonna do some type of for-profit (clickbaity?) website and he prolly doesn't wanna be associated with this place and possibly some of the stuff that gets attributed to an owner/site when it has almost-100% user generated content.

you know when i told that story of how this CSFMB civil war reminds me of my friends where the chick ditched the dude and the dude stopped being my friend cuz i wouldn't disown the chick (in favor of a dude i hadn't seen in 3-6 months) --- you know that dude DID technically have a painting job where he said he'd want me to work with him full-time in the future.... we did one gig and it paid great but then the next 2-3 possible gigs were brought up and then he'd disappear 2-4 days b4 they were supposed to start and then a week or two later he'd FINALLY msg back like "oh yeah it got canceled so i ended up doing something else" --- therefore a big part of his "i won't talk to you keep on talking to her" threat = 100% for-sure no really-nice-$$$ painting gig in my futrure =/

Bigfan was always good to me... and not good to my friends. Therefore he wasn't really all that good to me in the end.
