if 10-8 in 30 mpg is considered good, then robin lopez is good, IMO if a 7 footer cant average a double double in 30 minutes of playing time there is something seriously wrong

Robin Lopez will replace the injured/bad version of Noah. Nothing special..maybe average 10.5pts and 7reb.

Grant will compete for a starting guard position, but will have to get a lot of playing time. He played a decent amount of minutes toward the end of the season last year, and had some success, but that's against teams probably not trying to hard.

Jose Calderon can do play pg or sg. Again nothing special.

So to answer your question...No, these new Bulls are no good.

By the same token the 'old' Bulls were no good either.

This year's theme is "marking time".

Still better than the 98/99 Bulls ... ye gods ... the best thing about that season was it was truncated.

The new Jimmy Butler is good. Averaged 27-7-7 in 11 games without Rose last year.

This new team won't have a guy chucking 3's at a <30% clip, so that's a major plus.

Definitely no argument here...swapping bad for bad. This is just a move to let Jimmy do his thing every no matter who is on the court, not that I agree with that strategy either.

Possibly one of the most frustrating players to watch in the league...if the Bulls sign him, I'm done.

Prior to your latest and hopefully last banishment, I remember you touting the "resurrection" of Lance Stephenson. How'd that work out for you?

Maybe they should acquire your guy in order to achieve this fear

He carried a team that was decimated by injuries into the playoffs. The Grizzlies would have faded if not for his stellar play down the stretch.

I saw that. No chance that happens this year. Having Gasol was important.

They went 2-8 immediately after you touted his resurrection. I posted it but I think you'd been exiled. His return to bench/dnpcd status coincided with yours. The return of a few starting players accomplished that, not Lance.

Did. Not. Happen.

He sat 2 games after being acquired by Memphis, and that was due to injury. His numbers were very solid down the stretch.

The team is going to suck but Butler could put up some monster numbers next year.

He's going to be miserable if the roster doesn't improve. I don't think he's a Jalen Rose or Ron Mercer type that's happy with putting up numbers on a shitty team.

He's extremely egotistical but also a really hard worker and really prideful, Imo. He might demand to be traded, even publicly, but I think he's highly motivated to prove he's a star.

Yes it did in the Bulls game April 5

It's Butler's team now and they will win a maximum of 25 games. Will the same hypocrites that repeatedly have bashed other players for not taking crappy teams to great heights now start bashing him?

Or will they state that he has no one to play with?

Stop it with the straw man arguments. Butler isn't a superstar. He's arguably a top 20 player. No one has ever demanded any player to take a shitty team to great heights.

Oh how soon we forget. Doesn't.Fit.The.Narrative!

Well at least one of them decided to post. Let's see how many follow the path that you have not so eloquently blazed.

In honor of the real shit show that everyone is about to witness next season. Also an ode to DRose. May he find success in Gotham City.
